TOURING:

This is a big year internationally for Village People. February saw trips to Bucharest, Romania, and Castellon, Spain. March will see the Veepers in Rome celebrating the Festival for 6 nights in a row. The first two weeks of May means 10 concerts in Brazil followed by 3 weeks throughout France.

PERSONAL NEWS:

David Hodo, after 20 years in the Bronx NY has now moved to Manhattan. Ray Simpson has sold his house in Teaneck NJ and moved to another New Jersey town near New York City.

IN THE NEWS:

In February, a crowd gathered to watch the two most famous groundhogs in the US tell us whether the winter will be long or short. As seen on network news in the US, early in the morning, to stay warm, the crowd danced to the recording of “YMCA” – of course.

COMING UP:

Felipe Rose, the one and only Indian, will receive a NAMMY Award this October in the Niagara Falls area for his music and his Native American contributions.
